Assistant Manager

Description:Park Inc is currently seeking a full time; salaried Assistant Parking Garage Manager for our client location in Stamford, CT. The primary responsibility of the Assistant Parking Garage Manager is to maintain the highest level of customer service and convenience for customers; as well as manage the daily responsibilities of the multi-use parking garage in the absence of the Manager. This is a full time position that includes working 2nd shift and weekends; and does require some on call hours.

Monday and Thursday: 3pm - 11:30pm
Friday - Saturday: 3p -12:00am
Sunday: 3pm - 11:00pm

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
The following duties are typical of this position. This list should not be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. All duties are performed in accordance with established standards and procedures.

- Compute and record totals of transactions in daily revenue report
- Handles on-site communications with customers, client and Management
- Responsible for collecting and accounting for daily receipts
- Concentrate efforts on customer service in a positive and friendly manner and is able to perform all duties
- Ensure that Parking Garage and Company operations are adhered to
- Help train and orient new hires in the various operations of the parking garage and customer service
- Attend weekly meetings with Parking Garage Manager
- Reports daily to Parking Garage Manager to ensure that Company Policy and Procedure are adhered to
- Prepare and process daily paperwork and deposits as instructed by Parking Garage Manager - Follow all directives from the corporate office regarding policies and programs

- Ensure appearance standards are adhered to as it relates to the employee dress code
- Monitor and maintain all garage equipment; including pay stations and parking spaces

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required along with 2 years previous management/supervisory experience
- Is organized, communicates well, and is able to motivate personnel
- Proficiency using MS office software including Outlook, Excel
- Proficiency in Cash Handling
- Possesses a reasonable understanding of customer service and parking management
- Must have demonstrated stable and punctual work history
- Ability to work well independently
- Detail oriented and able to make sound decisions within assigned deadlines
- Strong customer service skills with proven positive results
- Previous Garage/Parking Management experience preferred, but not required
